Creative England's Production Services Team Host Kent, East Sussex & Brighton Familiarisation Tour

In October 2014, Creative England hosted a familiarisation tour in partnership with Kent Film Office1066 County Film Office and Brighton & Hove City Council which highlighted locations, production office and build space to in Kent, East Sussex and Brighton TV and Film productions.


The tour was attended by location managers and producers, who, between them, have worked on productions such as World War Z, Notes on a Scandal, Philomena, Come Fly with Me, Quantum of Solace and Silent Witness.

The first day started in Kent which revealed WW11 air raid tunnels, submarines and science labs. After stopping off at The Gallivant Hotel to take in the beautiful views of Camber Sands we headed to the historic village of Rye and Rye Harbour. The final day saw some impressive Art Deco and Regency architecture in Brighton, stopping for lunch in Hotel Seattle with views of the Marina.

Rebecca Snook, Production Liaison and Partnerships Manager at Creative England, said: “The fam trip revealed some fantastic hidden gems which really promoted the diverse landscape of locations in the South East.”
