Every year we host CELive, our flagship event celebrating creativity across England, and this year is no different.
We have packed our itinerary out with exciting keynotes, panels and experiences for delegates to truly appreciate just how creative our country is. Take a look at our top ten things to look out for at CELive 2017: Synthesise!
1. Discover the Future Leaders of the creativity
Drum roll please! For the third year in a row we will be announcing the CE50, sponsored by Barclays, our report highlighting the best up and coming individuals and companies across film, games and digital tech. This year's cohort have innovated and disrupted in their sectors, and will definitely be ones to watch in the future.
2. LJ Rich is back!
Following on from her successful stint hosting last year, LJ is back this year to help us celebrate the amazing breadth of achievements across the creative industries! Watch our quick clip from last year on why LJ thinks big and small companies should work together.
3. Sound the Syren
Be one of the first to play Syren, the latest release from Hammerhead VR, in our experiential Nexus Zone - but beware, as a survival horror VR game it is not for the faint-hearted!
4. Hear from Simon Bird
Creative England alumni Simon is taking part in our panel, having helped in the judging process for our Future Leaders. You can see him in action in our #EnglandisCreative campaign here!
Get your hands on some free Creative England merchandise, helpfully packaged in our stylish (and practical) totes! There'll even be some branded plastic pint cups for a...
6. Beer pouring robot
That's right, Strange Thoughts are also taking part in our Nexus Zone and bringing along a thought-reading beer-pouring robot. If that isn't reason enough to attend then we don't know what is!
7. Networking with a view
You can't have a conference without networking, and our hosts Barclays have given us an amazing view for our drinks reception to round off the day! Take in the London skyline as you mingle with the interesting creatives, companies and brands in attendance
8. Learn to be braver
We have partnered with the Marketing Society to run roundtables where we encourage our guests to be braver with their marketing. From big brands to small innovators, we want to know how companies can challenge the status quo to be truly remarkable with their marketing.
9. Lose your senses
Experience sight through sound with Notes on Blindness: Into the Darkness. Based on the Bafta nominated feature, Into the Darkness, allows you to experience sight through sound in this immersive VR experience. Brought to life by Archers Mark, explore your senses and, honestly, you have to watch the full feature if you haven't already
10. Watch along live
Sounds too good to miss? If you can't attend you can always watch with us as for the first time ever we live stream CELive! You can keep track of what's going on via our Facebook page from 1pm.
