immersive technology investment accelerator

Creative England is an Investor Partner in the Immersive Technology Investment Accelerator: phase 2, SME projects

The Immersive Technology Investment Accelerator provides simultaneous grant funding and venture capital investment for early stage projects. It works in a unique way; Innovate UK funds the R&D being carried out by companies, while Investor Partners invest in the company itself.

The Immersive Technology Investment Accelerator

Stage 2 of the Immersive Technology Investment Accelerator programme sees it opening for applications from UK-based SMEs. Up to £2m is available for UK creative and tech businesses to undertake R&D projects that enable immersive content to be created faster, more efficiently or in new ways.

Innovate UK will fund:

  • up to 70% if you are a micro or small business
  • up to 60% if you are a medium-sized business

So, if you’re a UK-based SME, looking for funding for your innovation, find out more about Innovate UK funding here.

This grant funding can be used alongside equity investment from the Investor Partners.

As an Investor Partner Creative England is looking to invest commercial investments alongside this competition.

Creative England is seeking to invest in immersive technology-based businesses through equity or convertible loan investments. Creative England can invest between £50,000 and £100,000 for this fund.
