Our specialist programmes offer skills development, business support and investment opportunities to screen-based businesses and freelancers working in film, TV, games and digital platforms. Working with regional, and national, companies and organisations Creative England connects its partners with creative networks across the regions to support industry growth.

Interested in learning to develop immersive content? Ideate is a new programme for Greater Manchester-based creative businesses looking to expand into immersive storytelling. Bringing together leaders from across the ever-growing world of immersive – from AR/VR, to audio and sound design, theatre and experiential events – to provide expert advice on creating innovative cross-platform content. Ideate Plymouth is a new programme for businesses based in and around Plymouth looking to create immersive technology products and solutions. This programme offers intensive business support over five months consisting of mentoring, peer to peer learning and exclusive opportunities to help businesses bring their products to market. Creative Wakefield: Advance
Advance is a new programme delivered in partnership with Wakefield District Council providing bespoke business support to creative SMEs, individuals and freelancers based in Wakefield and the wider region. This programme is funded by The Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport’s Cultural Development Fund grant, which is administered by Arts Council England.
The programme will offer three levels of support to creative businesses and professionals: Online Content, Mentoring and Events & Workshops. Find out more here.
